Individualised, compassionate breastfeeding support for your family

Breastfeeding support tailored to your needs

Many families experience problems with breastfeeding in the early days.  Breastfeeding may be a natural process, but that does not mean it’s always easy.  There are a few reasons why breastfeeding may not go as expected, but many issues can be overcome with help.

Fixing breastfeeding problems is a process.  With evidence based support and an empathetic ear, we can work through your problems together and help you to meet your own personal goals.  No issue is too big or small.  If something is causing you concern, then it’s worth getting breastfeeding support as early as possible.

Common problems may involve getting baby to latch on, nipple soreness, breast pain, tongue tie, low milk supply, transitioning from bottle to breast feeds, slow weight gain or oversupply.  Later on you may have questions about fussy or unsettled behaviour, or reflux symptoms. Some parents may have questions about combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding.  Some may have medical needs or have babies with medical issues and want to discuss how breastfeeding will work for them. Do get in touch if I can help.
